2026年、eit swimが掲げるテーマは「Diving into the Earth ー 地球を遊ぶ」。自然を消費するのではなく、触れて、感じて、溶け合う。“草木染め”という歴史ある技法を通して、デザインでの表現のみならず、より暮らしに寄り添う提案をしていけたらと考えています。
過去コレクションの「藍染」「江戸小紋」が私たちの想いを象徴する“シンボル”だったのに対し、今回の「草木染め」はそれをさらにブレイクダウンし、より身近に、体験できる表現へと落とし込んだものです。
草木染めは、日本の四季や美しさをダイレクトに感じられて、家庭でも気軽に試すことができるのが特徴。捨ててしまう野菜の皮や、散歩の途中で拾った落ち葉や花。そんな身近な自然から色を生み出し、使い古した洋服を生まれ変わらせることもできます。インクを作って絵を描いたり、紙を染めたりと、自然に寄り添うライフスタイルの一部として。
そんなメッセージを込めた水着をまとい、大自然の中へダイブして。

In 2026, eit swim dives into the Earth.
Not to consume nature, but to touch it, feel it, and move with it. Through the time-honored practice of natural dyeing, we explore this way of being—bringing it beyond design and into everyday life.
While past collections such as AIZOME(Indigo Dye) and Edo Komon acted as symbols of what we wanted to convey, this season’s focus on natural dyeing breaks those ideas down further, transforming them into something more approachable, tangible, and experiential.
Natural dyeing allows a direct experience of Japan’s seasons and beauty, and it’s something anyone can try at home. Vegetable scraps that would otherwise be discarded, fallen leaves or flowers picked up during a walk — colors can be drawn from the most familiar elements of nature. Clothes worn over time can be given new life, inks can be made for drawing or dyeing paper, becoming part of a lifestyle in harmony with nature.
