素肌に直接触れる水着は、着心地や伸縮性がとても大事。ここではeit swimで使用している３種類のエコ素材ご紹介します。
eit swim has changed all swimwear to eco-friendly (recycled) materials starting with the 2020 collection.
Comfort and elasticity are very important for swimwear that directly touches bare skin. We introduce three types of our eco-friendly materials.
●廃漁網リサイクル生地 -ふわふわ厚手のパイル調
Recycled fishing net fabric – smooth thick pile
2023コレクションの主な素材は、廃棄になる漁網を使用したリサイクルナイロン。パイルのようなふわっと気持ち良い地厚の生地で、しっかりとした着用感です。水着を着る機会があまりなく１枚で着るのが心配な方から、マリンスポーツをされる方まで、圧倒的なホールド感で安心してご着用いただけるのが特徴です。厚手ながらも伸縮性もかなりあります。生地の生産過程でも再生可能エネルギーを使い、リサイクル水を使用、排気量を減らし、ゴミをリサイクルするなど環境に配慮している工場で生まれました。

The fabric was created in an environmentally friendly factory that uses renewable energy, recycled water, reduced emissions, and recycles waste even during the fabric production process.

eit swimが初めて取り入れたリサイクル素材。こちらも廃漁網を使用したリサイクルナイロンです。生地が非常にスムースで、しっかりとフィットしホールド感が強いのが特徴。ボディパーツを美しく見せてくれます。こちらも伸縮性あり。生地の生産過程でも再生可能エネルギーを使い、リサイクル水を使用、排気量を減らし、ゴミをリサイクルするなど環境に配慮している工場で生まれました。

●廃衣類リサイクル生地 – 柔らかくスムースで薄手
Recycled waste clothing fabric – silky and thin
捨てられる衣類を回収し、工場で選別され、分解されて新たな糸として生まれ変わったリサイクルポリエステル。ぺらりと薄手で肌に馴染むシルキー＆スムースな着心地。伸縮性もしっかりあり、締め付けない優しい素材です。国産の生地。

Recycled polyester made from discarded clothing that is collected, sorted in factories, and broken down and reborn as new yarn. It is flat, thin, and smooth to the skin for a comfortable fit. It is a gentle material with firm elasticity and does not constrict. This fabric is made in Japan.
